Uncanny
Uncanny Editions has the pleasure to invite you to the launch of the 2nd issue of Uncanny Magazine and a one-day exhibition on the 20th January 2011.
The exhibition will feature work by Karen Lacroix and guest artists Page Tsou, Therese Vandling & Luke Frost and Tom Owen. The event will take place at Four Corners Galler...y (Bethnal Gr...een), from 6–9 pm.

With this calendar he is also trying to change people’s view of Mondays and the weekends.
Most people look forward to the coming of weekends, but are struck by depression when Monday comes. Even the Carpenters wrote a song about it: “Rainy days and Mondays always get me down”. However, if we change our view slightly, Mondays can be like any other day.
In this calendar, not only is he presenting this idea but more broadly, he is also reminding people to look at things from a different point of view.

Exhibit X presents a cross-section of images by photographers and artists that have either been producing prints for future projects or have made exhibition prints within the last year at theprintspace. The staff at theprintspace are in a unique position to oversee an extraordinary number of images produced for portfolios and exhibitions all around the country and we invite you to veiw a little glimpse of the talent that we see week after week. A group show with a difference, SAMPLE has already earned a reputation for showcasing new projects by established photographers as well as work from a younger generation of image-makers.

illustrative 2009 / Degree Shows
From October 23th to November 1st, 2009, Illustrative presents an international degree exhibition at ÏMA Design Village, which runs parallel to the main exhibition at Villa Elisabeth.
The degree show is comprised of a selection of artists from Europe's best illustration and graphic arts universities including: Royal College of Art (London), Central St. Martins (London), University College Falmouth (Cornwall), Züricher Hochschule der Künste (Zürich) and the Kunsthochschule Weißensee (Berlin).
The exhibition will include illustrations, artist books, installations and animations. Illustrative will award select graduates who show exceptional talent and innovation with a prestigious scholarship. Three students will be given the opportunity to live and work at ÏMA Design Village, which is centrally located in Berlin's creative hub.
The exhibition will open on Friday, October 23th at 18:00pm.
Open daily from 11:00 to 20:00.
